The FINAL test of my life...

I really can't wait for my final paper to finish on the 23rd of November... hehe.. Not that I have finished studying yet, but it's just because it will be my FINAL paper in my life (depends whether I might further my studies in the future... but for the moment, I don't think so)

Can't believe that I've finally going to graduate (14th of Dec). Been spending like 15years of my life studying (primary, secondary, trinity foundation and melb uni).. although I don't really spend most of the time sitting down and going through the books lar..haha.. but still counted as studying right..??

Wonder how's life going to be like once I graduated... I believe it's gonna be like 'face the real world outside' with all the stress of looking for the 'right' job, worrying about how much I gonna earn, wondering whether I am able to buy myself a car, a house or even considering to get married within the next 5 years... Hmm.. well, it's the facts of life..isn't it? But I also believe that I have a great God who has already planned out my life for me!! Woohoo... It should be exciting and fulfilling to walk in His will for my life..

What's been happening to J??...

Just came back from visiting the doc with a patch of bandage on my right leg. This is due to the injury that I've gotten during soccer last Saturday while I was attempting to do a sliding tackle which resulted in 'carpet burn' that causes part of my outer skin to come off...haha.. (Eng Hui: Yes, it was worth it afterall... coz I'll not be able to play this coming Saturday..haha) It's quite gross and I won't even try to post photos of it unless you are really curious and want to see it lar. But, don't blame me if it's disgusting and causes you to lose your appetite...

On a separate note, I am still sorting out some of my stuff which I will need to sell or give away. So, if there's anything that you need and you realised I have it, do let me know and I'll gladly sell or give it away...I'll take photos of the stuff and will compile it into a list once I am done with my final paper (23rd November)...

Besides that, I would like to thank Aaron Goh for buying me the wrist-band which I had wanted so badly but couldn't get it coz it's only available in Europe... Now I am a proud owner of the anti-racism "stand-up-speak-up" wrist-band.. WOOHOO!!

Last but not least, am looking forward to my graduation on the 14th of December... so, if you are reading this, PLEASE COME ALONG AND LET'S TAKE PHOTOS TOGETHER yar...hehe..
Still planning for my post-graduation party on the 15th of December..haha...

Things that I am busy with for the past one week:

My final project which is 100%... left with lots of documentation to do. My team has finished the product that we are developing (which is a website). Due this coming Friday and I need to do a presentation on it.
Thinking and FINALLY managed to choreograph the dance item for returnees nite.
Listing the things that I WANT TO SELL before going back M'sia for good. So, if anyone is interested on my 'semi-accoustic' Fender guitar, Roland 'Cube 15' amp, study table, lamps and more to come... pls let me know yar. I'll post up the list soon. Most of the prices are negotiatable and sales are based on 'first ask, first serve'.
Surfing the net for the cheapest (and most worth it) one-way flight ticket back to M'sia for either end of December or early January next year!! If I still can't get any ticket by then, I think I'll go back by ship... =P

I am looking forward to my graduation (14th of Dec) and NOT so on my return to M'sia... =(

I will be leaving with so many memories and good + close friends behind ler... although I am sure I won't be missing Melbourne lar. Afterall, it's the PEOPLE that I'll miss the most...

Melbourne VICTORY

Went to watch LIVE soccer yesterday with a bunch of guys and 2 girls..hehe..
It was the match between Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC. Obviously, we are cheering for the home team lar..haha. And the home team repaid our support by trashing Sydney FC!! Can you imagine, seeing your 'team' trashing the opponents 5 nil!!! It was made even sweeter when the players ran towards the fan and celebrate in front of us (after scoring goals).

It was so fun cheering, screaming and shouting all kinds of stuff..hehe. It's kinda like releasing your stress onto the pitch. The most hillarious part is when a group of Aussies began to direct their voice towards the Sydney fans (just a small number of them).

Hmm, I don't mind going for such a match again. It's really exciting and full of energy + passion especially when 'your team' is winning. Can't go for the next Melbourne game because it clashes with OCF Returnees' Nite. Anyone 'on' for LIVE soccer match??

The Match: Perspective from a manager

For the first half of the match, my strategy was to play at a high tempo to pressure the opponents and hopefully they will make mistake which we can manipulate. We started really well and at times we were keeping the opponents at their own half. Few substitution were made towards the end of first half so that I can rest several key players for the second. It was quite a balanced game with both teams created several chances. However, we managed to keep most of the possession. The first half ended with rather a satisfying feeling as I knew we played well controlling and keeping possession of the game.

To start the second half, I was thinking of taking some risks by continue to rest all the key players and allow other players to go for a run on the game. At this point of time, my strategy was to use strong players and keep the opponents at bay. I used a different sets of attackers just to maybe sneak in a goal if there's any opportunities. Another thing that was on my mind is to tired out the opponents by allowing them to do most of the running and to have a run on our strong players.

In the first 10-15 minutes of the second half, we were being pushed back by the opponent and we were defending deep in our own half. Our attackers tried to sneak in once in awhile to establish some attacking moves which were being foiled by the opponents. I tried another strategy which is to bring in wingers which might give us some options on the left and right instead of going directly in the center. About 20minutes into the second half, I eventually decided to field in all the key players and go for a more attacking strategy against a rather 'tired' opponents. At this stage, we were in control for most of the time with several missed chances. We keep on pushing forward hoping to get a goal and it was really close at some point which could have killed the game off. However, it ended up as a draw.

We maintained the team for the extra time as I believed we are able to break the deadlock at some point if we keep on pushing forward. In extra time, once again we were keeping possession and our midfields were winning all the high ball. Our defence was also superb to fend off any attacking threats from the opponent. I believed at this point of time, we were going for a win. However, the opponents were able to hang on as extra time came to an end.

Then, it was the penalties that won us the game. The opponents missed several shots and our team's penalty takers were in top form hitting the back of the net except for one shot which hit the left post (leaving the keeper watching in relief as he was not anywhere near for a save).

The final result: 3-1 (on penalties) for our team.

Soccer: Melb Uni OCF vs Parkville OCF

It was a good soccer match with Parville OCF yesterday. Although the weather was not that pretty, thank God that all of us had fun and indeed the players played with the RIGHT attitude throughout the whole match.

As for me, I was very nervous before the match. I woke up almost every hour thinking that it was already time to prepare for the match, just the night before. It was quite stressed too as being a manager for the first time, lots of things were going through my head from possible line-ups to strategies wise. However, it was a really exciting and fun experience especially with the opportunity to shout from the sideline..haha..

I am very proud for all of the players. They have battled hard and this victory will meant a lot to them. I tried my best to field all the players and I understand that some of them might not be playing a lot. However, I really believed that every minutes they were on the pitch do make a difference and impact to the team. Afterall, this is a TEAM game.

Thanks to every supporters who came and support us although it was raining at times. We have a really passionate bunch of supporters who will keep on screaming in support for the team.
Thanks to the referee, Chris who ensures the match did not get out of hands especially at such a high tension game. He is really a fair and calm referee throughout the whole game.
Thanks to all the players who played with the right attitude and making sure it was a fun and exciting match.
Thanks to our camera-man, Yee Seng who willingly came and recorded the game on his v-cam. Can't wait to watch it yar...hehe.
Last but not least, all glory to God who provides us with the venue, players and weather. Am so glad He is in control all the time.

Dream Cafe - Part 1

For the past 2 weeks or so, I've been having this sudden interest in opening a cafe. Well, not too sure yet, but maybe it could be what I will be doing after graduating and go back to Malaysia??.. Only time will tell...

First of all, this cafe that I've been dreaming about is not going to be any ordinary cafe. However, it will be like a ministry for young people. If you haven't know yet, I have always wanted be a youth pastor someday in the future.. so, this could be a good beginning yar..hehe..
If anyone of you interested in such an investment, let me know lar..haha.. So far, Eng Hui said he will invest RM10,000. I still don't know whether it is for real or not..haha..

Anyway, I've decided that it would be great if I can get some advices, tips, guides and even ideas for the development of the cafe. Therefore, once in awhile, I'll be posting the 'Dream Cafe' to ask all of you for any ideas that you might have.

For this first post, I would like to know what would be a suitable name for the cafe. So, if you have any brilliant ideas, feel free do drop a comment. So far, I can only think of one name, 'Sui Bian Cafe'; (means anything in Mandarin). The reason I came up with this name is because I think it is quite a common thing that when you ask anyone where they would like to go for meals, the first reply is always 'anything lar' or 'sui bian'. So, with that response, people will know where to go right? haha...

The reward for the winner with the best name for the cafe will be a special recognition from me when the cafe is open lar..haha..

Wow!! Such an amazing nite filled with cool live band, performances and magic show. It was so exciting to see how OCFers can be considered one of the most coolest bunch of people around!!..hehe.. Let's go through each of the programs of the nite one by one yar.

Red carpet entry

Haha, it was so cool to see all the wonderful guests; with wonderful attires, walking in Grand Buffet Hall through the stage!! How cool was that?? Haha... Therefore, to make it even cooler, I decided to take out my camera and start pressing it for the flash just to make it looks like some grand entrance thing for VIPs or celebrities in some red-carpet entry. Keep in mind, NO, I did not take any photos while pressing the flash of my camera, coz I took out the memory card. Come on lar, just to create some cool effects only right??

Welcoming by the MCs

We got both David Lee and Adrianne as our MCs of the nite. And both of them really did their job so well..haha.. They look awesome too!!! Although I knew it was scripted, they still look so spontenous in front of the stage. Well done!! I like the part where both of them tried to do some 'airplane' safety guides with David as the 'spokeperson' and Adrianne as the 'air-stewardess' pointing to the exit door and doing the oxygen masks thing. Did anyone actually look up the ceiling and thought there are really oxygen masks?? Haha...

Live Jazz band

Don't you think it is so cool having our very own OCF live jazz band?? Haha... and all of them really did very well too. Special credit goes to Willie (Bassist/Guitarist), Lim Wu (Guitarist), Nelson (Drummer), Suet Beng (Keyboardist) and last but not least, Louis (Saxaphonist). I was so entertained by all the jazz songs for the entire nite!! Well done band...hehe... And I believe, all of this is because of their hard work (all the amount of efforts they put in the practices) especially seeing how my housemate practiced almost every day!! So, I can say, I got to hear first hand of the jazz performance yar..hehe.. Of course I don't mean that the nite was second-hand lar...

Invited guest singing

We have a special guest singing some jazz song for us. And she is really really good. Close your eyes and you wouldn't realised it was an Asian singing jazz songs. In fact, I think this is the first time seeing an Asian singing jazz songs other than Suet Beng lar..haha... =) How many songs did she sings yar? I can only remember one, 'Nightingale in Barkley Square'.

Couples' dance

There were 4 couples dancing to the music of Quando, Quando (is this how you spells it?) with Suet Beng singing in the background. It was so cute seeing all the couples dancing differently from one another. It was as if they are in their own 'world' dancing out there on the stage!! Haha.. And one thing for sure, all of them keeps on smilling!!... If I am not mistaken, this is the first time I've seen all of them dancing together and it's in front of so many people!!

Hip-hop + Broadway dance

First of all, special thanks to both Vanessa and Sarah Jane for choreographing the whole dance item. I believed both of them must have cracked their brain before this to think of all the steps for the dance. Well done yar!!... The hip-hop team was so energetic and lively during the dance. Being involved in the broadway dance, we do have few practices together with the hip-hop team. And I still wonder how can we actually play both the songs (hip-hop and broadway) TOGETHER outloud and dance to it?? Haha... glad there's no fusion of both the items or you might have either hip-way or broad-hop (and don't ever think of fusion such as broad-hip....haha).
Just wanna take this opportunity to thank the broadway team (Sarah Jane, Cheryl, Michelle Sng, Fang, Chris Tan, Xing Yuen and Hong Tat) for all of your enthusiasm and support throughout the whole dance practices. It was so fun during all the practices with Sarah at times needed to shout at us just to get our attention...haha... Sorry Sarah, we are just too excited at times... And I heard from some people who told me how I was like the 'stand-out' person throughout the whole dance. Thanks for that really =) but I wouldn't have done it without the whole team together helping each other out and supporting one another. Let's plan for some post-broadway-dance-party or we can combined to make it post-hip-way-dance-party.

The Skit

Well, although it does take me quite some time before figuring out the plot of the skit (if there's any..?? no offence yar), I was really amazed by how it was being performed in such an interesting and meaningful manner. Seriously, I think it was really really good and mind you, I was speaking from a perspective of an IS person where we deal with stuff such as html, Gantt chart, data-flow-diagrams and java coding. So, you see, the skit was a success afterall!! haha.. =) Although I still can't really understand some parts of the script lar..but overall, I really enjoyed it. What a great bunch of actors/actresses in Eddie, Nigel, Deborah, Daryl, Jing Yi, Krystin, Li Wei and award-winning supporting actors/actresses (also known as 'ka-leh-fe') in Chris Tan and ??? Sorry, I don't know her name..oops =) Well done Skitters; that's what you all called yourselves right?? hehe...

Magic Show

What a privillege to have an award-winning magician to come and perform for us??!!! Thanks to Dave for inviting him. I believed everyone was really entertained and amazed by all the magic tricks. I personally was amazed by his changing-5dollar-to-50dollar-note trick!!.. It's so funny to see Mark standing in front of the magician and got surprised by the trick till he couldn't help himself but speaking out loud 'What the freak??' hahaha.....I hope I can learn the trick lar so that I wouldn't have any financial problems...haha.. I was wondering whether he can do the same trick but in a different way, such as, changing a 50dollar note to small changes (2 20dollar notes + 1 10dollar note). If he can, then he can easily work as a cashier and help people to change large note to smaller notes right?? Just a random thought...hehe..

Well, I think that's all the item for the Jazz-nite. Special thanks to all the hospitality people who have worked so hard to make sure our guests are all well served and treated like VIPs. Thanks to CBC and his F&B team for producing such wonderful finger-foods. It was really really nice lar.. I think CBC should go join some catering company, don't you think so?? haha.... Last but not least, thank God for making Jazz-nite a success and a fun-filled event.

So, what's next??... It's time to follow-up on your friends people!! hehe....

(I)cq (C)on-(Q)uer

I agree with Willie on his recent post that ICQ is much better than MSN Messenger. Unfortunately, more and more people have been using MSN due to it's (redundant) extra functionalities..haha.. By the way, I am not paid by ICQ for this post, so don't bother to send forwarded messages to people asking them to sue me or kick me out from MSN. Although I use MSN Messenger, I am not so dependent on it compared with ICQ (back in my high school years).

Recently, I did the POSSIBLE, by fasting on MSN Messenger for around 2-3 weeks??.. The result, I managed to do it easily without any withdrawal-effects..haha. The only issue I encountered was Ah Tat(and few others) constantly bugging me to go online using MSN Messenger so that he can talk to me FREE rather than spending the money calling me...haha..

Well, don't worry... I'll still be using MSN coz most of my friends are using it now.. how sad..hehe.. However, if anyone wants to revive back the ICQ culture, LET ME KNOW and we will start a 'ICQ FOREVER' campaign..

4 months to go... Countdown? Not really..

Giving some thoughts, I suddenly realised that I have about 4 months left before leaving Melbourne, where I have spent 4 years studying (mostly playing I guess...hehe), growing up, making new friends, serving in various ministries in OCF, learning about life, discovering more about myself, being independent and last but not least, realising that God is more than enough for me.

For those who knew me during my first year, I used to say that I won't be missing Melbourne at all when I ever leave because such was my heart reluctance to be departed from my dear Malacca home. However, after spending almost 4 years here, I seriously NOT looking forward to the day where I will be in the airport waving farewell to anyone (if there's any left for the summer as I will most probably going back in early Jan 2006) and giving a final glance to the place I called 'temporary home' for that 4 years.

It dawned on me realising that I might or might not see some of the people I've met here again in the future because basically our lives might not intersect again. How scary is that..hehe.. Well, at least it did teach me something important from such realisation; I NEED TO CHERISH EVERYTHING that I have around me.

Thank God for each one of you who have come across my life in both big and small ways. It certainly makes my life much more meaningfull. I won't name anyone YET, coz I'll wait until my final day before leaving Melbourne to blog and mention all names that I need to thank for. So until then, take this opportunity to be my friend so that your name will be mentioned later...hehe..

G(owen) to Newcastle?

I hope this is not true, but apparently Owen has agreed to sign for Newcastle instead of Liverpool. How can this happened??.. I used to like him a lot. In fact, he WAS the reason why I started to support Liverpool since World Cup 98.

Well, I really don't know what happened to either him or Liverpool staffs... but I am disappointed that no deal can be struck with Real Madrid to bring him back. I really can't imagine watching him playing against Liverpool when he had one of the best scoring record against Newcastle during his time for the REDS...!!!

I have always wanted to see him partner with Ciise at Liverpool and I believe both of them can be so lethal and form a great strikeforce.. but well.. looks like my wish had gone down the drain...

Such a gloomy day..... but I think that's football.. the ball is always round and hard to predict how it will spins... Anyway, I still believe.. You'll never walk alone

S.M.S (Surrendering My Soul)

Well, receiving such an encouraging SMS really stirred my heart and lifted me up from all my worries and anxiety.

"U dont need 2 wori so much. God already has His plan 4 u. When u come back, settle down, u will know wat 2 do. D (the) more u wori d (the) more u get confuse. God will lead ur way."

Such comforting words from my much loved, youth leader, really reminded me that God is in control of my life; yesterday, today and forever. How can I ever forget this?? Well, maybe too much thinking and worrying really got me distracted from focusing on Him.

Being in final sem of my final year, yes, I do think and consider a lot about my future (regarding my job, ministry, life calling, family and relationships) ever since beginning of this year. Although I might seem like a care-free person, frankly speaking, I do think a lot...haha.. Surprised?? I am thinking right now... =P

There are ppl around me who actually asked me before; 'why don't you go and start looking for jobs?'. Well, the answer is because.. I don't have a particular job in my mind right now. 'Then why don't you just apply and wait for an answer?' Hmm, you really want to know why? Well, it's simple, because I am the sort of person who will only take actions once I am certain it's the RIGHT one.. Weird? Silly? It's true....

For example, in organizing July Camp, I only approached Dan Lian as camp speaker once I am sure he is the RIGHT one. It was also similar with the camp venue selection. Ask Daryl and you'll know what I mean. After searching and calling up for almost 30+ campsites, we decided to go for the one that God has placed in my heart although it was booked when I called earlier. The result?? Miraculously, we managed to book it!!... I would say this is really by FAITH and FAITH alone.. When God is in control, all we need to do is just to listen, obey and trust in Him. It's hard at times but I believe there's no 'short-cut' to see a miracle happens in our midst.

After not-blogging since Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League (yes... i've been celebrating since.. even until today..haha..) I think I'll be back to blog again.. just like the prospect of Michael Owen returning to Liverpool soon..hehehe..

Since my last post, there's been lots of things going on such as Sydney trip (Hillsongs Conference), Steven Gerrard's U-turn decision to stay in Liverpool rather than going to Chelsea (good decision!!), July Camp, ski trip and much much more.. Well, I'll try to post some photos sooner or later.. Feeling lazy to type out in words..haha

On a sidenote, Liverpool just won the Super Cup!!.. Woohoo, I'll be celebrating again..haha. Although it took them two extra time goals to win it, I am still proud of the team. It's positive to see that they are playing more as a team than before. Going for more one-two passing rather than long balls (a technique preferred by Gerard Houllier before he was sacked).. Anyway, everything seems good at the moment for the club.. For all the faithful KOP out there, remember that You'll never walk alone

Well, last but not least, for all my faithful readers (if there's any..hehe), know that I might be back to blog again... who knows whether Owen will return to Liverpool right??..haha...

Amazing REDs!! Champions of Europe..

At half-time, everything was just not right for LIVERPOOL as they trailed the mighty Milan by 3 goals. All seems to be lost and the hope of seeing LIVERPOOL winning the trophy for the fifth time looks impossible.

However, the tide of the game began to turn dramatically with 3 goals being scored by LIVERPOOL in an unbelievable 6 minutes. The introduction of Hamann certainly help to change LIVERPOOL's game. First, our beloved captain scored from a wonderful header to ignite the hope once again in the heart of every KOP. Then, Smicer scored from long-range to further raise the believe of each players that it is not over yet. Next, the ever-impressing Alonso scored from the penalty box to complete one of the most remarkable comeback in the history of UEFA Champions League. Finally, our keeper, Dudek, made two brilliant saves from the penalty spot to allow LIVERPOOL to be crowned the Champion of Europe.

This memorable victory wouldn't be achieved without the tactical wisdom of Benitez (I wonder what he actually told the players during the half-time when everything seems gone) and the never-say-die attitude of each players on the pitch. They just seemed to battle on even when they are trailing by 3 goals and their legs just couldn't carry them anymore. I really respect their determination and strong character of never giving up. Due to their hard work and efforts, this victory is much more memorable and will be cherished for the rest of their lives.

For all the faithful KOP out there, know that everything which looks impossible can be overturned to be possible with determination and hope that rises within your heart. Always remember that You'll never walk alone because this is what our beloved LIVERPOOL FC was built on.

It is going to be one of the most exciting match ever.
It is none other than the final of the UEFA Champions League.
The match will be kick-off in less than 24 hours.

The match will be shown LIVE in SBS.
I am calling for all the faithful KOP to stand up for the REDs.
Cheer them all the way just as we have done in previous UCL matches.
I for sure will not be kept quiet for the whole match.

Like what Eddie said before in his blog, I will not say "may the best team win".
Rather, I will say, Come on, REDs!!! Bring the trophy back to Anfield for the supporters!!

Will certainly pray before the match starts, as what I had always done.

For all my faithful readers.. I am currently super busy.. with preparation for exams, assignments, July Camp, Sydney trip...etc..

Well, can see that I am quite happening huh??..

I'll try to blog more often after this week. Before that, I will need to have an organized time schedule to do all my stuff.

Anyway, 25th of May is going to be an exciting and memorable day.. For all Merseysiders (including Everton-ians).. support LIVERPOOL as they take on AC MILAN in the final of the UEFA Champions League.

REDs roar to Final...

Today I am indeed a very satisfied and happy person as LIVERPOOL had managed to beat CHELSEA (which is the best team in the Premiership at the moment).

All thanks firstly to Rafa who has came on top of Mourinho in terms of tactics for this encounter. Both of this manager is considered two of the most talented young managers around (according to Soccernet). In their first 4 encounters, CHELSEA had won 3 of them with a 1-0 margin and drew the next in Stamford Bridge last week for the first leg. Finally, LIVERPOOL managed to win the fifth encounter between the both sides to progress to the UEFA Champions League Final in Istanbul on May 25.

Thanks also to the players for their commitment and never-say-die attitude during the match. They defended and battled bravely against a very good side which is considered one of the best in the world at the moment. Although Gudjohnsen almost sneaked in a goal deep in the injury time, credits should be given to the defensive line of Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia and Traore for keeping a clean sheet. There shouldn't be any doubt that Carragher is now considered one of the most consistent player for LIVERPOOL throughout the season if not the Premiership. Even Traore played better than what I would expect from a player who almost being sold at the beginning of the season.

Then, we should also give special thanks to our captain, Gerrard for playing with all of his heart to help achieve such a memorable victory. Hopefully, he will consider to stay on in LIVERPOOL next season.

Last but not least, thanks to the KOP for raising their passion and support to make it such a wonderful night in Anfield. Indeed, they have been the 12th player for LIVERPOOL by lifting the team up throughout the whole match. I am proud to say that I am one of the KOP and will always be.

Now, we will wait anxiously for the Final in Istanbul on May 25. We will not be fearful of any teams for we have proved we can battle all the way without surrendering. For this is what LIVERPOOL is built on all these while.... You'll never walk alone

Just had a long weekend, from Friday to Monday(Anzac Day)... Supposed to catch up on studies but ended up slacking throughout the whole weekend.. Haiz..

I need to keep on reminding myself to be more discipline and have better time management. Anyway, it's too late to regret now as I will be very stress for the next few weeks due to countless assignments and submissions..

"Lord, I really need You to teach me to be more disciplined in my studies and at the same time never neglect my quiet time with You. Guide me so that I can soar like an eagle again. 'Sabo' back-fired...

2 days ago, my cell group had actually organized a surprise belated birthday dinner for me (Thanks so so much!!...) in a Japanese cafe-restaurant called J-Cafe...hehe.. The food there is really good but quite small portion lar. So, after the dinner, they said that we will be heading to Carlton Garden for a picnic to have cakes.

At first, everything seems fine and well... until I realized there's an extra cake brought by Chris and Xin Yuen. Being a person who always sabo people, I became suspicious and kind of know that there must be 'something' under their sleeves.

So, when we arrived in Carlton Garden, my suspicion grew when few of them decided to go to the toilet (come on lar Vanessa, where got people keep asking others to go toilet 1..??).. and it became clear when a few of us who were left behind, waited for almost 30mins!!.. While waiting, I kind of prepared for the sabo and ask the few who left behind (Jo Hong, Vicki, Joanna and Khee Lim) whether they brought extra clothes so that I know who I can sabo too...hehe..

Then when the group of the toilet-gang people arrived, everything seems normal except for some smiles here and there. And then, we had cell group sharing before they brought out the cake with a candle on it. Vanessa (my cg leader) was holding the cake. After singing birthday song for me, Chris took the candle off the cake.. and there was silence.. so they decided to sing another time. Just when the song finished, I quickly grab the cake off Vanessa's hands and slammed it on her face!!..haha..

And there was war after that.. with water balloons and flour all flying around... Guess what?? I was not the dirtiest person after that... but the honour goes to Vanessa!!...haha.. Didn't realized that the whole cell group want to sabo her too...

Well, that was really fun and I really want to thank all my cell group members for the dinner and 'sabo'...hehe..

Just watched a Malaysian made movie this evening entitled Sepet (which means slit eyes in English).. I must say that this movie is rather interesting and quite different from the typical Malaysian-made movies... I was actually supposed go to the city to get some stuff... but ended up watching the whole show with Willie and Hong Tat.

What really impressed me was the cultural-mix that the movie is trying to potray... Imagine a love story between a Chinese guy and a Malay girl... The plot of the movie is pretty amazing too.. Well, I must admit that I am able to somehow 'relate' to the movie... of course not because I am going after a Malay girl lar.. But it's more on the lifestyles of the main actor and actress.

Well, this type of movie really made me wanna go back home now...hehe...

21 and ONE day

I am now entering the second day of my 21st and I really don't know what to expect for the coming years.. except to surrender it to my wonderful Father... Think I need to start praying harder than ever before in order to know what His will for me in my life...

If it is possible, I would like to start soaring down from the mountain top like an eagle... knowing that He will be there to guide me in all my paths and steps... For now, I am still struggling to climb this HUGE mountain.. with all the challenges and problems in life...

First of all, I would like to thank God for His faithfulness in my life (for 21 years)... and always willing to love me more and more each day..

Secondly, I would like to thank God for my Family... all their loves and cares really make me cherish my life even more.. knowing that God has a plan for each one of them. "Father, I am holding on to the promises You have given me for my family.. and I'll keep them in my prayer everyday"

Thirdly, I would like to thank God for all my Friends... without you guys and girls.. I will be so lonely and life will not be as colourful as it is... Thanks for all the presents!!!.. I really appreciates all the gifts and even messages (SMS-es and online messages)... It really makes my 21st so meaningful and memorable...

Fourthly, I would like to dedicate special thanks to my housemate, Willie... He has been a real blessing in my life although I've only lived with him for 3months ++.... He also helps me to organize my birthday dinners... Next, is Eng Hui, Dawn Oh, Hong Tat, Eddie and Jing Yi for helping to carry all the things that I've bought... I am sure it's a good exercise to build muscles and making new '6 friends' yar..hehe..

Fifthly, I would like to thank Everyone who has come to my birthday dinners..you know who you are... It's been fun having all of you around to celebrate together with me..
